Dirty Gran Fondo / SUNDAY 20TH MAY 2012 / Wandong, Victoria

Registered.

Locked in Eddie…

I’ve reg’d for this too. They’ve got maps and an elevation profile up on the site now, if y’all haven’t seen that.

Looking like this will be my monster crossers maiden voyage…

I will be doing this Sunday’s gravel grinders as a ‘testride’ for my sscx pompetamine. Something to consider?

I’d be all over it but haven’t got the bike complete yet and have a few promises to family of zoo trips.

There will be climbing…

Section 1 - 16.67km - 567 Elevation Gain
Section 2 - 19km - 391 Elevation Gain
Section 3 - 18.13km - 366 Elevation Gain
Section 4 - 17.05km - 434 Elevation Gain
Section 5 - 18.06km - 278 Elevation Gain

Gran Fondo 88.9K with 2036 Elevation Gain

sooooo… i’m in, officially entered and shiz

Similar to the latest MGG. Hard day at the office. Looking forward to it.

Word on the street is that a certain pair of GravelGrinder masterminds have been offered entries for this.

Watch out for full-fendered, 40mm slick, bar bag-laden ridden bikes storming past you and making a mockery of your new fangled technologies

time to throw some cx tyres back on the focus!

Come out saturday morning. msg me for details…

Forecast calls for 3 degrees in Wandong on Sunday AM!

Hot damn. Or cold damn, I guess.

Spent the arvo prepping the bike… but hardest training ride I’ve done in two weeks is racing people up Canning Street on the way home from work. Uh-oh!

…and DFL! Some amazing roads out there, though, excellent event.
