Fixed Gear Documentary

Yeah there would be interviews, not so sure on events though. For now we would focus on the action and interviews and I have to see if I can manage to include events as well. I want to focus more on the personal side of it which would be you guys, events are more broad and general.

Awsm! we’ve got ourself a second FOA movie night right there

You really should be planning to roll out an FOA franchise ala Batman.

How about a documentary on the Sydney SuperCommuting scene? You can follow me along the M4 and through the back of Harris Park, then ask me questions about optimum saddle tilt for a B17. Must be willing to ride out at 4.30am.

This isn’t a real time, stop joking around.

yeah it is. That’s the time you find yourself in a really shitty nightclub while realising you should have gone home two hours ago.

the vortex normally takes care of the time between being drunk and sun-up…so while 4:30am may exist, no-one has ever documented its existence due to being non compos mentis

Hasn’t Pony closed down now?

I remember staggering out of Pony in about 2005, sun had just come up, and we all laughed at some douche-bag in lycra riding past on his bike.

Funny how things change.

If you fly me to Sydney ill ride my fixie bike and wax lyrical about how riding a fixie is actually the perfect manifestation of heideggers ‘being in the world’.

Harry, you’ll need a manager. I reckon 75/25 would be a good split. You can buy a lot in Sydney with your 25%

25% of a coffee and sandwich might not get you as much here as it does in melbz.

Sorry nexus, if I need a manager, I’m gonna call them a guru and it’s gonna be papa spirito. We’ll debate the pros and cons of modern versus vintage track bikes and ill storm out in a huff because I’m the moody member of the band. It’s not about the music any more.

It’s always about the drugs.

Unless you’re xbbx.

It’s still about the drugs, just the absence of them.

a fixed gear documentary seems like a really good idea

I’ll play Danny the Drug Dealer in this aforementioned fixie film …

Really need to watch that again.

Great film…
… No Melbz, too many mustaches.
