How about Ponies then?
I’m into ponies. A bowls club in brisbane used to have them so cheap it was cheaper to drink ponies than pots. Perfect for that “oy, we’re off, time for one more cheeky one”.
Never heard of Ponies! Please explain.
EDIT: 140ml???

Pony is half of a pot/middy. Basically one big sip.
Doesn’t surprise me.
I have never seen a pony. Amazing.
The My Little Pony cartoon is great, do recommend. It’s all about empowering girls to take charge without relying on men. A+, get your kids to watch it.
(This is the new cartoon, not the old shitty one)
I prefer the stories of She-Ra and Sailor Moon.
Sevens are where it’s at…
What about the old small stubbies (250ml?), as a teen we called them grenades?
I first heard it said by Poms, then have heard it more regularly since then.
Betoota recently did a post about them, called them Throwdowns, which is a term I’d never heard before
Yep, throwdowns is what i’ve always known them as. Dan’s still has them, but they’re oddly just as expensive as full-size stubbies.

Yeah definitely throwdowns or Throwies and pots were great in wild as your beer never got warm.
^ I still order pots occasionally, but I’m finding they’re going the way of the, er, pony.
My maternal grand dad drank ponies. My old man thought he was soft until he realised he could drink about 50 of them in a sitting. Never called him soft after that.
love a cheeky beer or 50
I can’t even drink that much water on a normal day
Beer gets expelled quicker, try it with beer.
Parma if you’re Greek, Parmi if you’re Italian (or identify with either)
Parmo if you’re a bogan in a HSV ute.
Throwdowns, I was trying to think of the other name for them.
Thanks foa.
