Just finished the polishing on this one and am jetting off to Japan in a few days, thought I would post up a few little teasers to wet your appetites, there will be more photos of the frame and complete build when I get back in a few weeks.
Frame is lugged, double oversized tubing with a custom paint job by yours truly.
The paint job is something I have been wanting to do for ages, I stumbled upon it when I was playing with my airbrush ages ago, and then I got the idea to paint a frame that way when I saw some photos of Land Shark frames a while back which use the same technique.
Just saw this in real life. photo’s in no way do it justice.
i’m going to go change my pants now…
Farkin brilliant !
Holy fuck.
This looks amazing. Well done.
Love the paint, a friend has a Landshark tandem, track & funny bike, all with the same blue paint in that style.
More shots upon your return plz.
mate, speechless. I LOVE those badges! This should be featured on prolly haha
This is awesome.
Like, reeeeally awesome.
O.M.G. I love this.
please more photos please, please
^+1.
Top work! Great headbadge too. But need to see MORE.
That’s effed up. Crazy good. Are you going to be painting your frames on the regular now?
Thanks guys, glad you like it.
I’m well chuffed with it, turned out even better than I thought it would!
Yes/No, the base coat and clear were done by my painter, the custom paint was done by me in between the coats, a pain in the arse with all the back and forth but I will definitely be doing some cool custom jobs again in the future
having a boner…now.
awesome work mate, really awesome. You are one talented mother fukker
Killer how did you go with that gear i pointed out.
Ended up missing out on them, finances had to go elsewhere D:
No dramas,
Ill keep an eye out though.
cheers man, appreciate it
Keith, This is incredible. That badge polished up like that… makes me proud to have done something for you that you have taken so much pride in. Fkn love it… have fun in Japan. Get inspired over there, then come back and keep getting stuck in to the craft!
Well done and good for you. Learning one craft whether framebuilding or painting takes lots of skill and practice to do well, that you’re taking on both and winning (as seen here) is not only admirable but truly inspiring.
I’ve long been toying about ideas for paint. I don’t wish to do it myself (limited for space and set up costs) but will be very keen to drive down to porn/fireworks/politics capital and seek your services. Brilliant, bravo !!!
Who are you paying homage to with this bicycle frame?
