looking for a work stand is this any good? has any body bought from pushys before?

Pro line bicycle repair stand

Pro Line Bicycle Bike Repair Stand

are these any good?

No. I got one, and while they’re alright, the ones with three legs are infinitly better. Example below:

pushys is good, ive ordered from them maybe 4 or 5 times

That’s a feedback stand!! They are fucking ace.
If you get one get the tool tray too it rules

The Proline is fine. I got one through another member here. Good and solid, holds the bike tight, easy to use. I’d recommend it.

signup to their mailing list first and you’ll score 15 bucks off - did the same thing last week… placed two orders and received them the morning after

That stand looks decent, especially for the price.

+1 to the feedback sports stand. I’ve had a pro elite for 5 years and it is great. Postage to Aus is a bit of a killer now though.

The proline stand is all good. Like Nexus, I have one. I have used for 3 years - for roadies, townies and MTBs (not DH tho). Would recommend - I prefer it to the style Lorday recommended - I like the adjustable clamp and very have had issues with stablity. There you go.

Thanks guys, sounds good I ended up buying this
Heavy Duty, Aluminium Alloy Workshop Bicycle Repair Stand

It looks the same and has free postage says its bike hand brand not the best but better than a lot for 100 buck delivered.

Looks the same to me. I think they come out of the same factory, but are branded differently. Much like many other parts in the bike industry… except Campagnolo, of course.

I have that Bike Hand branded one. It’s definitely worth the price you paid. I find it’s stable enough for most jobs. It’ll give you the shits every so often when you have to apply pressure on something and it wobbles or slips, but it beats working on the floor

You get what you pay for.
When I was looking for a stand I looked at some of the cheaper models but they just lack quality and stability. In the end I got the Feedback Pro stand and boy is it good. Expensive though. If you can afford the quality get it!

found this on ebay free shipping…

NEW BICYCLE BIKE REPAIR STAND WITH BONUS TOOL TRAY | eBay

while it’s nice and cheap - a four leg base means you need to be working on a nice level floor to alleviate rocking (or the need to chock one of the feet)

that one above is rubbish, I bought one cos it was really cheap ($20), it broke, seller sent me another, it broke, got a refund.

and the front wheel always rotates downwards under any kind of pressure.

Do.not.buy.

^ thanks for the heads up

I have never been a fan of the seat post stand. This style is THAT much better imo. You can actually install and torque a BB without getting all crazy.

There are some even better ones that you clamp the entire front wheel in and the BB is sits on a little adjustable support to account for differing frame sizes. Even has a little table top for tools etc. Expensive no doubt.

Cyclus Workshop Workstand Review - BikeRadar

This is the one I am talking about.

I do this with the bike on the ground. The seatpost style is good for variety of bikes including MTBs with through axles.

Same, also for pedals.
