hey man sweet ride. luvin the bar tape. totally brings out the tires. where did you get it? and what are those tires?

ummm…

your point being?

Maybe his point is I’m not a man? Not that I don’t get called a man all the time due to my manly looks and buff physique
The tyres are Rubino Pro, I got them shipped from the u.s each time i bought them, or picked em up when i went over thre. I havent seen em here but Im sure another brand makes similar ones.
tHE bar tape was an accidental score… ages ago i bought an odd ebay auction of goodies that included a turbo saddle, bar tape and chainring for $25. I think it’s some old italian goodness from memory, random find I didnt intentionally purchase.

that maybe we shouldn’t assume everyone is a man.

rode well, until I rode it off a 1 metre cliff in Bronte Park…

funny how much the gear ratio has changed… I’m now running something like a 52 up front…

Good old Rhodes

You local?

Edit:

my first, except soon changed the bars and saddle to something more…appropriate.

Aaaand, @ blokeinamoke,

are they the cell wheels? how do they go?

This was my first one bought about 3 years ago. Unknown Tasmanian built frame, only info I have is a sticker from Craig Price Cycles in Ulverstone. Mostly Cinelli/Sugino/Velocity bits. Its currently having some new parts fitted including risers.

lol, yeh im near concord hospital (conveniently…)

Where did you get that frame? I’m always trying to dig up Tassie built frames when I’m down there, to no avail.

I stumbled across it on ebay, it would be interesting to find out who actually built it.

sorry i hope no offence taken , i just use it as a non-threatening colloquial greeting to everyone lol… thanks for all the info

no problem it’s all love in here, well in this thread anyway, well for the time being.

My first fixed gear build…i call it trading access

Frame - 60’s Carlton 531 from Abodigital
Wheels - Campy Omega tubs from rogerrabbit
