Not sure if this passes as a roadie…im only riding it on the road if that helps…and also, there’s no Dad Bike category. Just got back into riding after a few years off (mainly because kids are enjoying it) so didn’t want to over invest and build up a fixie or proper roadie. Shall see how it goes, but there’s already some aesthetic mods coming soon…

Factory paint, gearing looks bigger cos oval. But still only a 52.
Have only had the one shake down over the weekend, so still making adjustments.
But so far so good, my first modern alloy.

It has a few dings/pinches in the frame. Looks like ol mate who I bought it off didn’t treat it nice when loading it onto a car and clamping it on a bit too tightly.
I wouldn’t ride this one on the road.

Can’t believe the value in second hand bikes at the moment, nor the speed gifted by these new rigs.

Reacto is a couple of years old now.
Had some new bits thown at it. The wheels are Light Bicycle WR50 I had already. No access holes in the rim bed, so no tape required. 25mm wide. Tubeless all the way. 
It came with 42cm wide bars. Ditched them immediately for narrower. On its’ 3rd set now. Integrated AliEx at 38cm wide. Very happy with them and the right price.
I wanted smaller chainrings for my ageing legs up the hills. Got some 50/34 Stone rings and some CF cranks at 172.5. The Stone rings shift very well. As good as the 52/36 Shimano they replaced. The front shift on di2 is sublime and much easier to tune than cable.
It also has a Ryet ultimate saddle just with aluminium rails too.
Pretty happy with it now. That’ll do these old legs for a while

Current main bike, 2013 Merida Ride 93. Not fancy but reasonably light and has enough give to make a difference on my crummy local roads.

This one should be the main training bike, but it needs a new chain. The first lot I ordered didn’t turn up and were refunded, second order half didn’t arrive and what did was “Shuimao”

This TCR has been a ripper.
Moved down from Mildura and back when I was racing the local club was allergic to TTs. So I turned my TT bike into a roadie. Put the RD into the spokes somehow which wrecked the frame. Bought the TCR off eBay to swap the bits onto. I think it was a 2012/13 model. I have over 30k on it now. No longer ridden as much but I’m keeping it. Love the way it rides.
