So, Phil and Paul, why don’t you tell me about Teklehaimanot. Did he reallly win the Tour of Rwanda?

Ouch. Tears of joy and pain for Etixxxxx.

Heartbreaking.
When was the last time the wearers of the Yellow crashed out twice in the first week?

It looked like Martin initiated the contact when he leaned out and shouldered the other guy. That’s from 400 metres overhead so who knows. Is there any front on video?

Apparently he clipped the wheel of the Europecar ridier in front (Coquard?) and then overbalanced to his left landing on Gallopin and then the domino effect… Velon will surely have some footage at some point?

Yeah, the overhead defs looks like it was Martin’s fault.

Apparently it’s up to Froome whether or not he wears yellow for the next stage. Would be a nice gesture if he declined.

^^ agreed

first week always sucks for crashes…

Did Paul & Phil ever work out who that QuickStep rider leading the stage was?

I actually said to my gf “Oh stybar with the break away”…then they announced it was Trentin and I lost it. I watched up until they switched from Keenan to Paul and Phil then caught the catch up this morning.

INSITES SORRY FOR THE DELAY!!!

^ best yet

I want that as a sticker on everything.
“OLEG, Forgive Me!”

Have HMC and Gary-the-Hubbard ever been seen in the same place?

Gary the Hubbard is a waning force and has weak banter on the internet. All hail CYCLINGMEMES

(QUOTE)The GoPro cameras have been offering up a lot of spectacular footage so far, especially when it comes to insights on the brutal high-speed crash during stage 3. The cameras also captured Etixx-QuickStep director Davide Bramati in his team car after his rider Tony Martin won stage 4. The team uploaded the video with an ecstatic Bramati shouting “Si, si, si… moat!” and it attracted many viewers. The video was also viewed by the race organizers, who noticed that Bramati wasn’t wearing his seatbelt, and they suspended him for one day from the team car.

Guy Dobbelaere, president of the UCI jury, told Cyclingnews on the morning of stage 5 that the police officers had checked several videos. “Bramati wasn’t wearing his seatbelt, and Wilfried Peeters was watching a tablet, which he held in one hand while driving the car. The colonel of the police was taking this really serious,” Dobbelaere said.

The Etixx-QuickStep team removed the video, and Bramati apologized on Twitter. Bramati wrote that he made a mistake in the heat of the moment, having learned his lesson and promising it wouldn’t happen again. For now, Christian Prudhomme hasn’t been fined for standing up in the sunroof of a driving vehicle.

It still suprises me that they don’t have dedicated drivers.
The driver is usually the DS, and thus the busiest man in the car!
Some of the Orica backstage vids would see Neil Stephens and Matt White banned for life.

Luca Paolini has tested pos… for coke?? Stage 3 party must’ve got out of hand!
