the new bmc track bike.

i kinda don’t love the design, tbh:

totally underwhelming…

It looks pretty much like the TM01 to be honest!

Don’t overly love the stem, it’s pretty ugly.
If someone gave me one thou I would ride the fuck out of it

very bmc x look collab.

None of the links work for me :frowning:

carbon and alu, im diggin the alu

Alu one is nice yep. But that Carbon… thing. Looks like a plastic toy.
Also, the studio crew didn’t have a chain break handy? Slam that wheel and SELL me the cutouts.
3T sphynx looking bars… :frowning:

The alu is really tidy! Something about the TR01 is throwing me off though, I just can’t pick what. Definitely a little bit Look inspired.

^^ Yesss, alu version looks so sweet

Might be upgrade time for me already
Edit: The forks are, “straightedge SL” Straight edge super light? It was pretty much made for me!
Edit 2: Who stocks BMC in Melbourne anymore?

Cyclic in Flemington, not sure who else.

fap. I like both. THe front end of the carbon one looks a bit naff with the Scatto’s… The Alu would make a rad street whip.

Kaos customs in caulfield?

BMC would be marketing this at actual track racers (obviously), enough chain to run different ratios is a bigger selling points than a slammed rear wheel.

Also, those bars looking nothing like the 3T sphinx.

I like both, would happily ride either. Will be interesting to see if the TR01 starts turning up at world level.

i had a soft spot for these frames until i saw footage of one of them breaking in two in a crash.

These are nice looking machines. BMC FTW

Is that a mix of alloy and carbon? I thought it was pretty nice until you mentioned the breaking in half thing.

But really, what carbon frame hasn’t broken in two?

The old BT cyclones are known for being pretty much bomb proof.

these were at worlds a while back. obvs a prototype, but they seem pretty similar - even have that naff stem/bars interface. still, they looked hot in the flesh. dunno why the 2013 version rubs me the wrong way.
