They’re usually in pairs if you search around. There used to be a regular pair down by the Merry Creek where we used to walk Goose. I saw one a month or so ago on a night MTB ride up at Trevallyn. It flashed by in front of my light and then perched in a tree next to the trail. So cool
Ah right, I’ll have to have a look around. This one is sitting on a fence post - it probably thinks it’s a tree. It was still there this morning when I went past, obviously not in a hurry!

NSJ: went to kmart to get some cheapy slides for my works EOT facilities, no sizes for me 
SJ: walked past Nike and noticed they just got a fresh delivery of Jordan 1 Bred Toes…yeaahh boy 
SJ: started commuting at my job
NSJ: EOT facilities is nowhere near as good as my previous job, ie locker is at the other end of the carpark, smaller showers, smaller change rooms etc…i was spoilt

NSJ: started work today full of dread, knowing I had to make a 10 second animation for a difficult client that was due COB, with ZERO idea what to do for it. And I suck at After Effects.
SJ: Thought of a concept by 10.
Executing it was way easier than I thought it would be and looked way better than I thought it would look.
Sent for a approval by 3, and enthusiastically approved by the client with zero changes by 5.
Knocked off early. Fucking pearler.
Ps: thank you random Eastern European YouTube man. Your tutorial on parallax animation in After Effects was short and to the point. Maybe I will “smash that ‘like’ button”

yes what a unit. Wasn’t surprised, I rode with him last month up in Bright and he was flying.
Thanks lads! It was a bloody good day out, weather was pretty much perfect (even allowing for the heavy shower on Back of Falls, and some brief hail about 225km in). My legs felt amazing all day. There’s a lot to be said for proper carb loading and hitting at least 60g carbs per hour on the ride. Kept a lid on it on the climbs, Hotham is my new favourite climb - I spent most of the top 10km just grinning at the scenery. The descents between Dinner Plain and Omeo were heaps of fun, descending on my TCR is a joy, and then I had a small group of 4 or 5 for the twisty stretch between Omeo and Anglers Rest. Had a mini coke, a caffiene gel and some panadol before hitting the Back of Falls climb, and felt fine going up there. It was steep, but nothing my training on the north side of Mt Alex hadn’t prepared me for.
The last 10-15km was magic - they’ve resurfaced the road up around the back of the dam behind Falls Creek, it was the smoothest road I’ve ever ridden on and me and one other dude chopped off and did 38km/hr along there. What a buzz! Could have happily kept riding down to Mt Beauty.
Riding bikes eh. Best.
