SJ: Didn’t go to Harry Styles.
Not always my vibe but the man’s an entertainer, can’t deny.
My youngest and her friends were running a bake sale last weekend when one of their customers told them Harry was at the local cafe 50m up the road. They took up a plate of cookies and he bought 3 for $50.
SJ: Found out that some of the images I took of a small off grid cabin in the Snow Mountains of NSW are being published in Green Magazine.
the spot just blew up
SJ1: riding along banked up traffic, im in the bike lane on the left
NSJ1: as traffic moves from stand still, car turns left into driveway, i scrub speed but not enough to make contact and t - bone her, locking up the rear in the process. im not fanging it, but i wasnt plodding along either
SJ2: contact was minimum, but decent, no damage to me, or her car. She was very apologetic, wanted to take me to doctor, come in for a tea etc.
Not sure who was at fault tbh, technically she turned across my lane without checking, but then i didnt see her indicator because of the banked up traffic, and i wasnt going slow either.
SJ3: continued my commute into work
Her fault. Good you’re ok though
SJ: Made the Courier Mail
so i told a workmate your story coz she’s obsessed with harry styles & she sent me the same article yesterday too! hahahaha
FoA royalty and all round good guy Dan Angus in the news:
SJ: got given a pair of high end flat pedals off a mates new bike he bought which were surplus to his needs
NSJ: being scared to damage the pedals on trails, considering how bashed up my current ones are
bash away, jase, bash away, for that is what they were made for…
haha yeh, that first smash on a rock is gonna hurt though.
That first smash into your shins will paint them a nice colour
Of all the things to worry about on a bike - pedals are not one of them. Go bash em up
yes yes, will be bashing. Both shins and rocks!
SJ1: I got my old account back after the site fixes.
SJ2: Still around, riding bikes.
SJ3: Recently picked up a State Thunderbird and it’s great.
SJ4: Regular group ride is nice.
NSJ1: Putting in effort to get out of my always solo riding bubble only to be met with pettiness by group organisers.
hello fellow owner!
Im probably on my 5th iteration of going between single speed and geared, commuter than gravel, and back again.
Its a great bike
