The 'what you've done to your bike today' thread

Already have an offer…

You’ll be right, as a former potato owner I think I’m just suffering seller’s remorse.

I’m rebuilding my rear wheel. Maybe a new frame colour for the weekend.

built up my Macneil Deuce Deuce2 frame lastnight.

Frame: Macneil Deuce Deuce 2
Fork: Colony Hell Stallion
Bars: Failure Dumbar
Cranks: WTP Royal
Seat: Odyssey Aitken and Fit post
Front Wheel: Gsport Marmoset, Odyssey Hazard Lite
Rear Wheel: Khe Geisha with 10mm studs, Odyssey Hazard Lite
Tyres: Odyssey Path 2.1
Stem: Fit S3
Sprocket: WTP Supreme
Chain: SRAM
Pedals: Odyssey Twisted PC

Me 3! 4 clinchers and 2 tubs. Those prices were ridiculous!!!

Plus a 56cm Corex with Nagasawa lugs and BB shell, and Tange tubing from Korea.

I got the card from the Postie and knew it was the frame so I rode the bike trailer down to pick it up. Then saw a box with wiggle on it at the Post Office, and thought that there is no way the wiggle order could have arrived as well. Sure enough it was mine! Loaded down the trailer and rode it all home. Double pleasure!

pics plz.

Today i spat on my bike and called it a whore.

then we both cried.

This wasn’t today, but I forgot I took it until today.

The daily ride, breaking rulez on Saturday night.

I know, non-DS out fail.

sweet bmx moccos, macneil is the shiz and also one of the only companies which makes a pivotal bmx seatpost long enough for flatlanders to use

What is the benefit of a pivotal BMX post?

It looks neat
I worry about getting caught in the baby-wipes-style chinese-rubber-balltrap in the top though…

they’re also much easier to set up

strong, light,no seat rails to bend,no seat guts to get you on the inside of the ankles/knees etc, look sweet

But they don’t make pivotal aitken seats, so until they do ill continue to rep guts and rails!

only a matter of time since odyssey are already doing the senior and plastic senior saddle in pivotal

Bought a set of ski poles and made a new mallet.

Also stole bought two bikes:
1 x Hillman track
1 x Calton track (Made in England version) Mmmm… Chromey

(Will post images in the next few days.)

Bought lube
Lubed chain
Changed rear tyre
Swore at bike while changing tyre
Realised tyre wasn’t on properly and swore more and punched the wheel
Let the air our of the tube and started over again
Added human powered spoke card
Went riding

the end

ordered a new head set

and ordered a set of tires for my atlanta/phil wheel set thats getting built up.

Got a brand new Campagnolo Record Track Sealed BB for pennies :stuck_out_tongue:

Built up my fixie to take to Europe.
55cm Kerry Hopkins Track Frame (Reynolds 753) with all Campy record/strada parts. Pics to come.

ODI mexican blanket seat, now I would love one of those with a macneil 330 post
