Bb30 is fine as long as you run a praxis style adapter or bb30 cranks.
I had the same problem running campy in pf30 frame I now run a specialized campy adapter and have out about 10,000km on it with no drama,
But seriously the whole bb thing sucks right now and there’s just to many frame/crank combo’s

Nothing exciting but last night before racing I changed my stem. 10mm higher and 10mm longer, I’m now sitting further back on my saddle and engaging my glutes better. Still needing to go longer though and possibly even a touch higher.
Removed toothpaste from hub and repacked with grease and new ball bearings. It did help but the races are still a little rough and i didnt want to leave it all in there for too long. I reckon I’ll repack it again in a month or two and see how things are.
Got a blank canvas courtesy of Lorday… lots of spaghetti should be hanging off it in a few months.

How good is the paint in the sun?
Why not just buy a Force or Red BB30 crankset and bottom bracket? Stiff, No creaks, and most likely lighter than what you’re using. Ebay them from $100-200 a set.
i used the adapter for while (to save cash) and it was fine, switched over to DA and started to make some slight occasional noises. It was only when i tried to regrease the bb cups that i found the sleeve had slipped.(could be my fault for over tightening the cups causing the loctite bond to break).
Yeh, next build will be BB30 sram cranks or DA and praxis.
Ive got something in the pipeline so its gonna be either one, fingers crossed its the SRAM though
