Spirito saved the day and managed to re-tap the threads for my bottom bracket so I could change to 7710 cranks. New drivetrain day.
I think I want spirito to touch my bottom bracket.

Related to my post above, I fell in love with my tarck biek again.
built my Soma tourer-ish bike back up. Warrantied frame turned up mid week. Now sporting a carbon fork and a friction shifter as i still havent fixed my broken Campy shifter, other than that though its sweet. So stoked to have it back.

Nah, one of the factory bolts where it clamps at the steerer
swapped cages on chorus carbon rd’s. that little washer has to go in before the spring - don’t put it on the end of the bolt and expect things to go smoothly.
