The 'what you've done to your bike today' thread

was really a last minute thing, you know me, im so fickle with buying selling things i take forever. For some reason this time around i unloaded everything in a few days.

I didnt see it advertised anywhere :frowning: would have snapped up at least the frame set :frowning: oh well!

56 cuz, too big!

Been trying bigger bikes and longer stems lately… might have to rethink my whole fleet :frowning:

oh really??..daaang. did not know that =(

All good! I gotta flick the ciocc first to free up some funds in the budget!

Go get a fit dude

Friend bought me cinelli glow in the dark bar tape for Christmas.

I’ve never been a fan of white tape/gimmicky colorful things but this shit actually looks awesome at night.

Judging by a pic I saw of you on your bike I’d say your miles out hlc.

Started bolting this together with the aim of the classic show in March. Still need some more correct bits, but coming together.

changed saddle and bars.

not feelin the tape, but the rest is noice.

Yeh, black tape to match wheels, tyres, chainring and saddle would be good.
Also, huge stem. 140mm?

+1.

nice ride.

have passed the halfway mark of this build. need to drop it back off at commuter for the final touches (things i can’t or suck at doing)

kypo?

yes, finally. will get a ride thread once finished, as well as spammed across the shakes-on-roadies.

Gave the spare/loaner/pub bike a bit of love a few days ago.

Someone gave it to me after they found it in a bin room in a Darwin apartment block bin room. It had a broken brake cable. The narrow drop bars it had were fun, but freaked inexperienced riders out when they came to visit, so I flat barred it. The reno involved a wheel and bottom bracket rebuild, tightening of the cool looking but kinda annoying and flawed Brooks grips, and fitting of the Wald basket. I modified the basket stays to get it sitting as low as it is. I’d still like to add an Imperial cutout to the B17 Narrow.

Over Christmas I also built up the back wheel for my impending Campy 8sp conversion on my commuter.

As much as I love this, and all, Kypos, more wedding photographs, please.
