anyone have the issue of seeing there are new posts in a thread, but only the first page will load?
so, for example, the thread has 12 posts in it, but you can only see the first 10, second page won’t load…?
anyone? seems to be happening to me a little bit in the last few weeks. i don’t seem to be able to access the posts #41-43 in the FOA 3DT road trip thread. i know from past experience, if i post in the thread the next page will magically become available, but not if i just click page 2 etc.
not a huge deal i suppose, was just curious.
I sometime get that, though I think it happens when there’s a post that rolls the thread over to another page.

thanks nexus. if that link was to the second page it didn’t work, as the link still loads the first page…
my IT skills are very limited. i’ll see if it loads on my trusty iphone without logging in.
edit - iphone worked fine both logged in and as a guest. guessing that makes it a browser issue?
i is having similar issues as Mr RollyRanga…except sometimes when i check back the next day, i can see everything.
it seems like if it’s a new thread and it hits a new page in the same day, i can’t see the new page.
this is all using FF8.0.
i can use IE7.0.5730.11 to veiw the stuff i can’t with FF.
seems i’m getting logged out automatically since we’ve switched to the new look FOA. i’m ticking the ‘remember me’ option, but i keep having to log back in after about 15-20 mins of inactivity. i hit new posts and i’ve been logged out.
anyone else having this problem?

I’ve gone back to the defult style skin, the fixed “white version” was too hard on my eyes, but i did like the look of it though.
the “TOP” button isn’t working with the new skin.
switched back to the old one and it works again.
agreed. looks much nicer, but too hard to spend much time staring at. black backgrounds are the way to go for eye happiness
didn’t know you could choose, but now i do and i have, back in black, much easier on the eyes, and black is more energy efficient than white… that shits important
I thought that wasn’t the case with modern monitors? Something about there being a back light even when displaying black?
I switched back to the Default skin because I couldn’t tell between highlighted and non-higlighted threads. Apart from that it looked pretty good and functioned well.
i was basing this on that blackle thing that all the cool kids were using a while back, no factual basis so you may have called me out there…

indeed, can you make a custom colour as the background. I reckon light grey would be ideal on the eyes.
