So I just thought I’d build an album of pictures past and present on my profile, and found that the limit of pictures per album is 10.
Not really an album with 10 photos in it, is it. Can this be modified?
Yes it can be modified. But I can’t find it in the control panel so I guess I don’t have privileges to do it. We’ll also need to look at server capacity to make sure we can handle the storage ok.

anyone else having the issue of logging out only to come back hours/days/weeks later and finding that you’re still logged in??
seems to happen to me quite regularly. i am definitely logging out and it still happens. i’ve even logged out, closed the tab, reopened and yep, still logged in…
seems to affect the results when i hit the “new post” button
i think its called cookies, it would just be your browser logging you back in as it loads the page… i think
did someone change my sig for me? because i’m pretty sure it said “eat pussy, it’s vegan” and now it’s a link to lolcats…
either that or i’ve been changing sigs in my sleep again, godamnsleepinternetsurfing
if the logout function is working correctly it should remove the cookie when you log out, or alter its settings so that it knows you arent logged in.
i’d check you have all fixed.org.au windows closed when you log out, sometimes your log in will persist if you are still logged in on another window and go check that page.
failing that make sure you shut your browser down (or at least the open tabs for the same window) after you log out.

i think it tends to happen when i’ve d/c from the web, quit safari and put the computer into sleep mode. i’ll try and pay more attention next time so i can be sure of what’s happening. i know that each time i log out i make sure it states that all cookies are cleared etc etc.
all that said, it hasn’t happened once since i posted the problem…typical
So, after a quick scroll through this thread I can see that this whole 10 character thing is a forum default.

I can’t see any real positives coming from it, just a lot of messy posts that say shit like’‘Yes.56789’. It’s a great theory, but all it’s resulted in is people (including myself) adding superfluous characters when there really is no reason too. I understand people writing inane comments like ‘Nice bike’ is annoying, but this happens less than people are padding out their posts, and maybe that is just something that can be moderated.

Several times when i’ve visited in the last few days it doesn’t load. Could this be a problem or is this just me?
What’s not loading - The site, or something else? Still having problems?
It was the site itself, it was just showing a blank page and not connecting at all. it happened a few times but hasn’t done it since about the 30th i’d say.
My work network was having issues too, so maybe that could have been the case. If it happens again i’ll let you know. Thanks mate
Nick, I’m not sure if it’s just my computer or not, but most times when I click on “What’s New”, either none, or only a couple of new posts show up, yet if I go into any sub forum, I can see a heap of posts that have been made since I last came on here. Has anyone else had this?
yeah, happened a couple of times today. i have the new posts page bookmarked, but got no results for it
is there some way to alter it so that you can write ALL CAPS. for eg, when i wanna write OMGWTFBBQ it should be in all caps, but it comes out in all lower case. all caps is handy for internet abbreviations and when i need to say really important things*.
