... this thread's gone to the Dogs

Sad news Spirito.

One of my folks’ two dogs and the cat (who is almost 18 years old but looks half that) are in a similar situation. Only weeks left at best, maybe just days. The real sad bit is that the dogs are siblings and the one who lives longer is gonna be so lonely.

Always a sad situation.

True, that’s gonna be tough. Hope they sign a pact or sumtin’ and go out together. One of my favourite (and saddest) films as a kid was Where the Red Fern Grows Where the Red Fern Grows (1974) - IMDb

But now that I’ve mentioned it you can’t watch it as it’s too close to home.

In some ways I think pet’s lives run shorter than ours just to remind us to make more out of life. I hope your parents do Ok, it’s tough going especially if they’re in a lot of discomfort.

Sorry to hear spirito, here’s my little Lola to help

Hugs to you and family, Spirito

Sorry to here Spirito, we lost our Golden last year, had her from age 5-22 so 17 years. its always hard to let go.
Here is our latest addition to the family.

I’m sorry about Medo, Spirito. I loved the photos you posted of him, I think he was pretty lucky to have met you, and obviously vice versa.

You dont take her out in public like that do you?

bwahahhaahahhaha fuck no. Have a pink #ontrend camo harness for outside.

Stace painted her nails pink the other day. #facepalm

So awesome.

This is my German Shorthaired Pointer, Ollie.
He is doing his best Grumpy Cat face.
It took me ages to catch him doing it when I had a camera handy.

Sorry to hear about your mate Spirito. Such a helpless loss, but it sounds like it went as well as it could, all things considered.

Here’s my bro Goose, picked up while out garage saleing in Darwin nearly 5 years ago now.

More of Molly.

We got Charlie our second cattle dog twelve months ago yesterday. Day one of owning her to day 365 (of her owning us!)

Awesome dogs !!! Keep 'em coming

Fingers crossed I’ll be picking up a rescue dog from the RSPCA this week.

Mines waiting for the rest of the fam by the front window.
