Just got back from the vets for Chook the ten y/o red cattle. Arthritis is a bitch, but she’s the happiest mutt around!
My boys are 2 now…
I’ve got a song I put in my head to keep cadence when I’m climbing. It goes “Upside down dog, is my favourite dog, upside down dog, is my favourite dog” in a repeating melody.
We picked up two staffy x whippets today. Beautiful dogs. Will post pictures later.

Once, when a friend was house / dog sitting for us, our dog Molly (lab x kelpie), ate a whole loaf of rye bread. He then had to go back to the bakery and buy another loaf of bread and explain to the older Greek lady (whose English wasn’t that good) that a dog ate all his bread.
I’ve also gone into the kitchen to discover that she ate two half frozen hamburger buns that were out defrosting in their plastic bread bag.

Being a retired greyhound, don’t they have to have a face cage?
i got her through the greyhound adoption program, she came with a green collar which means they are tested to be safe around kids, so they don’t need a cage
14 years for a boxer. That is a serious good innings! Gorgeous!
