I am a little bit upset that My Sister The Cop - Animals Traps didn’t get a mention.
Since we’re talking old(ish) aussie punk - has anyone got a copy of Gilgamesh’s 2nd release (third after the demo) called ‘Land of the Long White Shaft’ - only 500 copies made (apparently) - it had a Panda eating bamboo on the cover. Long story Short - I have been looking for it since I missed getting a coy on release - a friend had a copy but sold all his punk/hc music when I was overseas. Then a colleague said he went to school with the drummer/singers girlfriend and he would ask her for a copy, but then he moved to Japan.Then I met a guy a the social distortion show who said he woul dburn me a copy, but when I called him he had lost his copy!
So yeah…If anyone has it - I will pay for it /or do a swap for other music. Thanks!

You can pretty much tell how old I am looking at that list. Sure, there’s probably better albums, and definitely more important albums than those above, but fuck it, these are the Australian albums I’d wanna take with me to that desert island. You know, the one with the record player.

Is this there first album? If so, I’d love a copy. I love Nick’s drumming and there were a few ok songs on there if memory serves.
This was the second album. I’m pretty sure there was one before this, in about '95, but I don’t have it unfortunately. Happy to burn you a copy of Steep Hill Climb though, given it’s probably pretty hard to track down these days.

oh man, the process is their best (even if i still skip cam and amy’s songs). it’s like everything just came together. just sucks that most of the songs are about a good friend of mine and how much he’s a jerk.
