Tour Aotearoa, 3000km Length of NZ. Feb/March 2016

According to the 'gram Adam got to the ferry with 1/2 hour to spare, but the trackers seem to have stopped at the ferry. Unless it just takes ages to load up and get out on the water.

Edit: scrap that, ferry has embarked.

Agree. It’s nice to have a couple of foabros to live vicariously through.

You should see Tom. Silly boy didn’t sunscreen enough on the beach

Yeh, it was about 20 minutes late and we had to wait for it.

So, hi everybody. Thanks for watching. We’re currently on the chartered fishing boat to Helensville. Might get one of Mouche’s recommended icecreams.
NZ is pretty rad. Fucking hilly.
Tom and I met up on the bus and have been riding together the whole way. It’s good coz we are pretty much the same speed. He also introduced me to Bumper Bars, which are rad: definitely my go to road food.

tell Tom his tracker is showing him sitting on the beach still. thought he’d somehow been muscled out due to numbers…

They’re a bit temperamental sometimes. He’s on the boat. Us and Paul were the 28, 29 and 30 of the 30 limit, although they could fit a few more

He left his bike on the beach. Nah, he just turned it off

also, tell him I said hi.

So Tom is FOA right? what’s his username? Can’t be bothered reading back.

Yooo

And hi rolly!

Spot tracker keeps turning itself off smh

welcome to ā€˜blue dot fever’ (although they aren’t blue dots for this)

its fun and slightly odd… but its super fun.

keep pedalling guys!

Hi tom

Hi.

I reckon Seb and Anja will be in Wellington tomorrow night.

Easily on current mileage, although it gets hilly as all through there.

I was wondering why Ollie had dropped of the pace today, it seems some lowlife pinched his shoes last night, some people just need a kicking…

That’s just fucked.

Yep, keeping my shoes close

Edit, wrong person.

Wonder if MickD is planning to get to Mangapurua Landing today and wait for the first boat in the morning? But then I looked at the distance, and current time over there and thought, nah, not possible.

Ollie has put in some big legs today to catch up with leaders after that shoe debacle.
