Does anyone know which Tektro mini-vs work with the Tektro RL340 lever?
Would it be the 85mm RX5 or the 90mm RX6?
Will the ‘quick release’ in the levers give me enough movement to disconnect the noodle?

85mm will work best. Generally you don’t need the qr to release the noodle.
Is that from a retail site? I wonder if they sell stationary two?
And by the way, my two sets of Paul’s are now $50 each or whatever anyone will pay
I do not want them. I tried updating my popst but it never got through to the ad.
Probably just means “a Campag wheel”.
JP pm re pauls. I’ll give em a good home
too slow! (not me)
Anybody laid eyes on the TRP RevoX yet? Good review for the zillion-$ carbon version on road.cc, but there’s an alu version too.
Bit of a dig, hoping for thoughts/feedback/advice…
I have my sweet Bakfiets now and I’m going to throw some love at it, the first order being for improved stopping.
At the top of my list are Paul Motolite brakes. I think the Mini Motos are great, however I suspect they wont clear the tires and fenders so the Motolite is where I’m headed (paired with the appropriate Paul lever)
Given the years have passed since people commented in this thread - what are your thoughts on this?
Are super expensive Pauls much better than a decent set of Tektro or Shimano linear pull brakes? I’d be investing in good pads above all else.
Don’t waste your money.
Get a Shimano Deore / XT vee brake and a matching lever.
I’ve never had problems with Tektro CR-720 canti’s with Kool Stop Salmon pads, but for a flat bar I’d go v-brakes.
This - have those levers + Tektro RX5’s on the arise and they’re pretty great.
Yes. Go linear pulls
but non mini vees in this case, coz arm length issues with clearance, and no need for a caliper pull lever.
OK, say money isn’t the issue and you want things that work and look good?
Because IMHO, those Shimano parts are pretty damn ugly.
I have to assume the Paul parts will work the same and “investing” in good pads is also key.
probably won’t work nearly as well, even with good pads.
as a result of or due to?
fuck that cnc musa bullshit
goodness me!
