Yep, this is pretty much what I reckon too. Hearing southerners complain about antics in the bike lanes is totes lol: I mean, BIKE LANES. Anywhere outside central Sydney if there’s a bike lane all the cyclists stop and give each other wristies, cos we’re so happy to have an actual fucking bike lane. Seriously, the friendliest cyclists in Australia are on that one tiny stretch of bike path in Parramatta, cos they’ve just been battling with sociopathic tradies and mental p-platers for the last 20kms.
To the one guy that sucked my wheel last night, obviously you are an idiot… it had been raining pretty much all day and I can’t even imagine the amount of water / road grime / etc that would have been flicking up into your face.

I am actually jealous of your commutes/commuter antics. The only taste I get is a small window on weekday arvo’s when I go out for a training ride, or all the fred’s on early sat/sun mornings trying to ride/exercise as well.
