It depends if you’re buying a bike for art, or for function. I doubt any frame I own will ever make it to my kids, mostly because I’ll have ridden the damn things into the ground!

It was my understanding that the carbon frames have been outsourced while the steel, aluminium and titanium (oh how I lust after a de Rosa Titanio!) are made in the factory in Milano. Or is the outsourcing even more prolific than this?
