That’s the other point to make: Why ride myself into the ground in front of no-one on the Saturday when i could ride myself into the ground in front of a big crowd on the Sunday?

I feel like I should race nationals for the lols. Sure ill get pulled by 2nd lap, but I can tell anyone who gives and doesnt give a shit “Yeah, i raced nationals blah blah etc etc”

8 mystery bruises from yesterdays race, and one known sore jaw.
things i learnt:
bring your helmet
chairs are comfy
bmx tracks are rad
get rad on bmx tracks
do not bin it on the first lap
always cross the line ahead of those around you, you never know when the flag will fall
State CX championships are on this Saturday.

Surprisingly with entries closing tomorrow there is still only a small number of entries across Elites (4 men and 4 women) and Masters (only 22 across both genders all age categories)!
I’ll be there racing, any other takers?
