Show us your Bike Caves...

Threw stuff out, packed stuff away, hung stuff from hooks. Now to try and keep it somewhat neat (Jokes!) Next step is a wall of milk crates to replace the wooden crates/plastic crates/drawers for more regular and accessible parts/tyres storage/access.

Would like to put up some other hooks etc, but the mortar is made of cheese and the bricks are made from diamond, so putting in dynabolts is impossible.

Looking cool, blakey

I want to adopt blakey, would save lots of time in training my 2 year old, except for this droopy looking saddle…

Started work on the garage in the new house this weekend just gone. Got most of it done, it;s just still full of old carpet/underlay, doors etc from the rest of the reno’s.

Here’s a pic of the bikes hanging. Not the best hangers or best way to hang bikes, but I still need to get my GTI parked inside.

All of this is inspirational. Really need to sort out my bike mess…

Those bike hangers are amazing value for money. Not the most space efficient though.

I’m not super impressed with them, probably would have preferred to spend the extra hungy and gotten something a bit more sturdy. The smaller the bike the further from the wall it sits! am going to make some changes to them so I can tuck the bottom legs in further.

They do the job for now though.

I’m after a bench vice for the team Swuzz compound

Ugh, me too.

I have a drill press waiting in the wings (THANKS SPIRO!)

I really need a heavy duty bench to attach both to.

Maybe I can just bribe Erle and he’ll help me make one.

Bunnings have some cheapies for arund 28 bucks for a metalworking vice.

Not the greatest nor heaviest duty, but does the job for the metalworking stuff I do.

Otherwise theres always cheap, old ones on gumtree for cheap.

Not mine but pretty mad. Some AU bloke:

campagnolo delta brakes: The fourth room.

What’s behind the door?

i feel shallow for coveting this guy’s room.

campagnolo delta brakes: Sweeping leaves on a windy day

my initial opinion of the room owner changed quite quickly once I scrolled down.

Meh - not bike cavey at all, just a room for bragging about your collection. Give me a place to sit on milk crates, a cold one and tinker like I know what I am doing any day.

EDIT - oh wow, just clicked on the link Blakey pointed on. Carry on being a legend.

Spider had some time off work so he built a rack for our house.

Sorry about the filter.

cleaned up my pegboard

Fimo workshop?

Think I might have to get a pegboard…

There is something seriously bizarre going on with scale there.

Well done Blakey! Successful troll is successful.
