Love the fork / bar / stem mounted on the wall!!!
it’s actually a cinelli grammo Ti stem, it was seized in those forks after the muppet owner thought it a good idea to turn his master into a tri bike. i could have killed him, except i got some bad ass wall art out of it
the bars are cinelli giros which i pulled off a hard rubbish find bike…
A couple of pics of the new “dirty” workshop going in. I’m building a 2000mm x 600mm workbench out of Tasmanian Oak both the frame and the top. I am building drawers into bench for all the files along with the dremel etc. Also building a matching grinder/polisher stand. Have fully insulated the workshop and installed a Nobo heater for the Winter. A small bar fridge going under another small bench for the pedestal drill at the other end (just for milk of course). The walls are lined in 9mm ply. That leaves just enough room for my small lathe. The last owners of the house left a ton of terracotta tiles so will use them to tile the whole floor. It will be my first tiling attempt!

Workbench is nearly complete now. Frame finished, sanded and waxed. Benchtop finished and only requiring sanding and waxing to be complete. Not looking forward to loading it all onto the trailer and taking it from my parent’s place to my workshop. Benchtop was made from Tasmanian Oak like the frame with no metal fixings used. All assembled by dowelling. Pleased with the results. Now I just have to make all the drawers which can be slotted in around the metalwork jobs.

Dowelling the edges into place.

Just sanding and waxing to go. Faithful assistant to assist with cleaning up sawdust. I suggested to her mother that she help as well. That wasn’t greeted that favourably.
I tidied mine up last week and put a new (old) stereo in there. It’s not perfect, but it’s better. I also sold a bike, so I can hang all my bikes up now.

Love it!!
Bit more redecorating today.

Probably going to make a Picasso inspired bulls head out of some 3ttt bars and saddle at some point too.
Staying in this place for the next 6-9 months, so got a cave going. I didn’t want to commit too much to this cave, when we get a new house that’ll be a big effort.
Haven’t cleaned, etc budahdungivaufuuuk
That is some quality cave action’
Rest of the cave is WAY to messy to post but here’s the crown jewel:

^ fuck i need one of them. one day.
I’ve only recently moved in so it really is looking like a cave at the moment.I’m in the middle of renovating the house
and this has become a bit of a general storage area at the moment but it has potential.

^ and then x 4 - a carbon / alu / steel / ti version of each
that should much pretty cover it.
Because Fixie is taking over…
Painfully waiting for my new cave to eventuate, it looks like this at the moment:

seems so…
My temporary bike cave… I’m god damn looking forward to being organised in a couple of months:

This thread is just making me sad about my lack of storage space, bikes and bike parts haha
