on making it, no not really, on selling it, yep shit loads
steam exchange beers from Goolwa are tops.
Speaking of beer, (which I usually am,) I really admire the bars that have a rotating tap – something different every month. The Court House in North Melbourne is an excellent example, every time I walk in there I’m amazed at the beers on offer. Last week they had a Bridge Rd Chevalier and an 18.2% Brew Dog Stout! Not sure how feasible this would be in a small bar, but it could be done in bottled form as well (beer of the month, for instance.)
Gene; when are you, Antmandan and I starting a microbrewery? Dan can brew it, you can sell it and I’ll, um…drink it!
what no way! i was told my boss bought the whole shipment of the brewdog tokyo!! the bridge rd chevalier is awesome
care to elaborate on which ones exactly?
the bar looks great, will be sure to visit soon.
Went last night. Nice place.
so did me, k o, gene and tom, what time were you there?? my head kinda hurts today!!
great little pub, longnecks of coopers for $10 and dion and the staff are very nice people.
also turns out i used to work next door to the girl behind the bar about 7 years ago. quite the spin out!!
I’ll be taking my mum there for toasted sandwiches tomorrow afternoon, 'cos I’ll be in the area for some ridiculous reason.
Pretty early as we went to mamasita for dinner at about 8:30ish. Only had a couple drinks, but will be going back for sure.
thought they went into liquidation…
i’ll be checking this fine establishment out sat night
yep was good fun, awesome little space and well used, much thanks to dion and the krew for their awesome hospitality

new spanish beer has arrived today Rosita Cerveza Artesanal de Tarragona
described as -
Rosita is the love child of a group of beer-loving entrepreneurs from Tarragona, who could not let another year pass without the city having it’s own artisanal beer. Their dream was clear: the beer had to be hand-crafted, high quality, appealing and approachable.
To achieve these criteria Rosita is made using the best quality natural ingredients and water sourced from the Santes Creus Monastery. Instead of producing beer on an industrial scale, with big tanks of fermentation, the Rosita is brewed as it was traditionally-fermented in the bottle. Although a slower process, drinkers can taste the quality of the ingredients. And the love
and for those who kept bugging us for cheaper beer, there is now Tecate at $4 a can.
Giggity…
thats awesome!
hit the place up on friday night…
nice beers.
good times.
x
let me know when your going again…
ill buy you a beer!
Rekordelig cider is awesome. Super sweet but so tasty. I like the pear one as it really tastes like pear. If you are feeling safe with your manliness the lime and strawberry one is delicious. It is bright pinky red though so people will know you are on the bitch piss.
Rekordelig is a little too sweet for my tastes.
what we’ve been suggesting to people is split a bottle and have it over ice with a shot of gin each.
takes that sugary edge off perfectly (and uses alcohol as a mixer for your other alcohol!)
Went there with some chums last night, was good. I like that fact that you have cans of Tecates. My only criticism was we kept blowing our candle out due to laughing. Maybe replace with one of those ones that plays happy birthday and can’t be blown out. This, i suspect, would add to the ambiance.
WTF. How do you laugh?
I am planning a Melbourne trip this year and I think I am going to have to sneak this in. If we stay in the city would it be easy to get to from there? Do you have Yebisu?
