brake track of the hard ano tb14 on my road bike after maybe 14 months of use, the front is a bit better. i’ll be rebuilding the hubs to hed belgiums in the new year.

My parlee wouldn’t cope so well in the back with 25c tires
Or gp4000. Less puncher prone but will wear just as fast and are not as supple
How have your brake tracks held up Tom? I know the ano came off quick but is there much wear?

Not necessarily. Got some NOS from the 80s when solder and petrol both contained lead 
Also got a can of 80s freon for cooling shit down.

Horatio is actually correct, soldering stainless cables needs a silver solder unless you’re playing with crazy fluxes.
Or, you could use non stainless cables.
The green rubber is meant to be the extra grippy component, but I’m sure it could be made any colour. Tradition and differentiation I guess.

Sweet choice on the wheels. And def’s grey on the frame. Monotonal frames are awesome (may be a bit biased).
I suck at soldering and didn’t want to have cable ends so I just epoxy’d (that totally should be a word) the ends of the cables. Works a treat.
The pave evos are pretty dam grippy but suck to put on and the green is pretty lame. I want to try out the Michelin pro 3/4 range though… Heard some good things about those.
Forks: get Enve’s cause the 3ts look shit (IMO) (once again: a little biased). Maybe even check the Easton forks? They’re a little slimmer and there should be a straight blade design (curved carbon forks hurt my eyes).
Also seet job on the red-less sr group.
You can use super glue and clear heat shrink. FTW get some AiCAN cables from fairwheel bikes… The inner DLC cables are dark in color and they have less friction than std campag cables which will produce very sweet and slick shifting…
Ohh and don’t get an eastern fork. Not even in the ball park with the enve forks… They are not as stiff and don’t have the really good customer support that evne have.
I agree 3T Funda doesn’t look as nice as the Enve. My Funda has been great for the last couple of years though.
