Tony Martin is just such a beast. He buries himself on a solo break away then hops on the front to help out team mates in the hills and then goes and smashes an ITT. He shows his suffering. He’s a beast.
If I’m honest, I’m really enjoying the guys going after the hour, however I would like to see more of the female pros going after it. Lift their profile and the profile of the women’s pro peleton too.
Agreed on false modesty, for sure. Maybe he was pressured into comment? That makes it a bit different to making a statement off his own bat. And i am pumped to hear love for Martin

He is like a ventriloquist doll.
Cadel won a tough WRC, Flech Wallone and TDF among other short stage races in a 2 year period.
A pretty varied result considering todays specialist riders.

He looks a bit like a bobblehead. Rmember when he rode for HTC and was just an air inlet with quads perched on a bike? Then he rode for quickstep and got really gaunt and homeless-like.
I still rate him though. After Cancellara he’s probably my favourite.
