The Podcast Thread.

I really like a few of the ones mentioned above - IncompleteStreets listed Criminal. I recently listened to this episode and found it really interesting. Worth a download if you’re trying to pick a first episode to listen to.

My friend told me about Song Exploder. Pretty good. Obviously not every episode will be to your taste.

Brief description…

“Song Exploder is a podcast where musicians take apart their songs, and piece by piece, tell the story of how they were made.”

Since we’re all on the internet here, Reply All has become a new regular listen for me. Things all about the internet.

The Brendan Canty one is great.

Bump for this. John Stanier this week.

Thanks for the bump, gotta listen to this. Canty and Stanier talking about stuff… yes.

Steve Albini on WTF this week.

Yeah, looking forward to this.

I’m about halfway through http://www.dancarlin.com/hardcore-history-series/ about WW1

I’ve never put much time into history, especially about war but this have engulfed my driving / riding time this week. It has taught me to really appreciate the scale and simplicity (technologically speaking).

Friggin’ love hardcore history. Makes a four hour solo drive to Arapiles something to look forward to. Also great for garage tinkering times!

yeah, munga likes to par-tay!

Do they talk about new breaka flavours and what’s new on the smoko van :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve added the marketing one, always keen to learn.

It’s more about getting off the tools and into being a business owner rather than simply a tradie working from week to week.

If you run a small business it’s 30 minutes a week of your life, and I’m sure you’ll get something from it.

Been listening to the Shetler Show podcasts, really good interviews with Chad Muska and Marc Johnson where they talk about starting out. Some great insights into the origin of Maple and Real.

anyone listened to The Message? I’ve heard Josh & Chuck talking it up on the SYSK podcast & thought it sounded interesting…?

Anyone keen for Star Wars should go back and listen to the Richard Herring Leicester Square podcast where Peter Serafinowicz hilariously talks about the process of voicing Darth Maul and the disastrous US premiere.

Thread bump.
Anyone listening to anything good?
Need new podcasts.

Gladwrappa put me onto Mystery Show which is pretty good.

I also subscribe to: The Joe Rogan Experience, Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank, Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History, Waking Up with Sam Harris, Common Sense with Dan Carlin and a few non serious ones like Your Mom’s house and The church of what’s happening.
