Years ago I posted something similar in the pro bike mechanic thread – my wife came home saying to me that her front wheel was making a funny rattling noise. Turns out I didn’t tighten the track bolts on her front wheel after the previous service. Lawyer tabs were the only thing just holding it on.
SJ for me - down at the beach at Aireys, perfect winters day, kids down running wild in the surf, sun in my eyes, sound of the beach, now having a beer and working on my bike for a ride tomorrow. Work has been bonkers last month and having some family time and bike time is straight up pure joys.
NSJ: not much actual rain but plenty of puddles resulted in drenched shoes and socks.
SJ: method of laying out socks in a towel and then rolling them up worked a treat!
SJ: cracking ride on some very nice roads up around Wiseman’s with a good group yesterday.
NSJ: I struggled after riding to the start and not eating enough.
SJ: still had a great day.
SJ: great to see Carlin, Alex & Rowan.
SJ: jumbo potato scallops.
SJ: Listening to music in the middle of the day at un-neighbourly volumes as most of the neighbours have moved out, while drinking tea, opening FOA for the first time in a year and reading all the small joys from the past year
