After walking my bike home, I had to fix a slow puncture I got somewhere on my way into the city this morning :x This, just after preaching about how good Durano Plus are (I would still recomend) It’s just annoying that I have some massive slashes in the tyre that suprisingly didn’t make it through and this one is as big as a pin prick and it caused me so much grief

spent half the day trying to remove tubular cement from rim. even hit it with paint stripper. nasty chemicals, mediocre results.
tried the same a few weeks ago. Even used industrial strength car gasket remover. That stuff usually gets rid of everything! But had no success, only made it gooey . Nasty stuff…gave up in the end.

Yeah, it needs to be tweaked a bit, but I was excited and rushed. But it’s not actually as far off as it appears in that photo, and I haven’t slipped onto the top tube yet.
Removed chain from fixie yesterday and cleaned entire drivetrain in citrus cleaner - cleaned entire bike also thinking about what fun everyone was having at the skid comp…

Changed the chainring on Samson from 45t to 49t. It’s at 77" now.
Changed the chainring on Malvern Star from 42t to 45t. Cleaned it a bit. It’s at 80" now. Feels a little tall. I’ll see how I go tonight.
Was going to put a 46t chainring on my Europa, but I ran out of time and had to make dinner.
I love having 144bcd cranks on all my bikes.

some bits fell off my cranks but I didn’t put em back on for optimum weight saving capacity
I prematurely starting taking down the old ride to build up my new ride, and now I’m just plain disappointed in myself that I didn’t wait til Monday so I would have ALL the bits i needed.
Now I have no bike to ride and a hole in my heart. 
It’s on Rundle Street in Adelaide. It’s just down from a coffee shop (possibly next door) and I can only assume the lycra brigade were leaning their bikes on there.
