Just blew the bead out on my front bmx tyre.
Tan walls will be gone tomorrow night and replaced with something else.
Tomorrow I will do some research.
Kevlar bead Revenge Industries look alright…
Hope you’re rolling tomorrow night so you can laugh at how shit I am going to be hhahaha
Of course ill be out tomorrow night! Always keen for wednesday shreds!!!
Put a 44t Campagnolo chainring on (up from a 42t) on the Malvern Star. Got it off ebay. It was listed as a 1/8", but it’s 3/32". Oh well. It’s in good nick.
Took off the crusty leather off my $1 Cinelli Unicantor and cleaned up the plastic. I’ll see how that rides tomorrow.
sold my rear wheel, waiting for a paint touch up and parts to arrive - then the rebuild
Some how managed to break the quick link in my chain on my way to work… I reckon I didn’t do that clip thing properly.
ODI longnecks on bmx, seem pretty good. Tried and failed to put brake on fixie, bolt strippage n wrong diameter =
Got a nice shiny silver seatpost last night and fitted it this evening. Bike looks kinda like this now:

shitty iphone pics > no pics.
I washed my ram yesterday.
Its amazing what I quick wash and lube can do.
I put drops on my Samson. Looks good and rides awesome. Kinda thinking about getting a set of Nitto drops and another Nitto stem to keep it all Japanese. Feels wrong have Cinelli bars and stem on there.
Walked to parliament station with my ram due to a sneaky flat front tyre and no spares boooooooo
I used nitto bar tape end to stop my bar tape moving around. work experience at bsc is handy for using little things.
Found a rusty old Kabuki for free in a guys front yard dumping ground…
Pullin it all apart now and gonna repray and rebuild it!!!
Was going to run a rear brake. discovered you can’t really re-wrap bar tape. Will do it another time.
depending how old your tape is. alot of the newer stuff around can be rewrapped plenty of times.
As im waiting for my replacement wheel, i stripped it and re-bogged some dents and pits i missed, re-sprayed it, and gave the missus mixte another coat after a light sanding. Also got her a 27’ coaster brake rear, pick that up end of the week. Working on a corner shop cruiser, stripped to bare metal and a couple if coats of clear, goin for that raw look.
Cleaned my chain, cleaned the rear sprocket, lubed the chain, checked the tension and everything else I could think of and my frickin’ Malvern Star is STILL noisy. I reckon it’s the Aerospok amplifying the noise.
just did a quick rattle can job on my swansea ( its going to be down professionaly)
and did and outline around the lugs/painted the whole lug white
cant make up my mind
any one else got a cool colour scheme i could use
fixed

perhaps a few too many colours to put on a bike but this site has plenty of nice, tasty, uncut colourways
