Reminds me of “Hachiko” - the Japanese dog that was the basis Fry’s dog that waits at the pizza shop in Futurama. It used to meet its master at the train station every day (now Shibuya) and then when he died while at work it used to go to the station every day and go home alone. People that say animals can’t have real emotional attachment are out of it.
